For a language and learning support, instruction and training center, a Microsoft Access database
application was created to manage and facilitate evaluations, instruction, scheduling, documentation
and research.
The database application manages scheduling and registration
for instruction, evaluation, and training.
Microsoft Word documents are managed from the database application. Users can create new
Word documents with data merged from the database and existing documents can be opened for
edit or in
'Read Only' mode. Users are grouped by permission levels to control
access to documents. Lead users manage merge templates from the database application.
Staff can only see information for clients they have worked with.
Custom test score entry forms are created and used within the database application. The test score
reports can be customized as well.
Custom surveys are created and used within the database application.
Data output is created to import into accounting software.
A Microsoft Excel workbook is created with data grouped from different client service areas.
Users select the date range and the database application builds the new workbook. Column and row
sizing is formatted for each workbook for easier research analysis.
